Tijuana Gringo : Poems

TJ wine

the first kiss of night
outside Cetto winery

cool evening air dark skies
hover over gleaming city canyon

palm trees stoplight
hillside square houses

traffic noise hums distant radio

inside winery kitchen
muchachos prepare

dinner for aficionados of
bajacalifornia wine

just like a poem you must cut the
parsely tops fine chop chop

chop discard their stems
