WELL OKAY FIRST gotta say I ain't written diary@blog for a week no I went across on Saturnday and watched a house (from time to time I feather my pitiful early-retirement nothing with extra pin money from house-sitting) for five days and it had a fast cable modem link to my semi-fictional lies well that part aint a lie so anyway (oughta be a river, ["Zabriskie Point"] okay) so anyway I spent the whole time doing nothing but making movies for youtube but they didn't have a camera so I could only make collages but you know that meant I could make one with a movie of a train and you know what they say if you get lemons then make lemonade so I made a delicious lemonade with that train oh look here it comes... and at took Presdt.Buzh II's voice and slapped it in and chopped and diced mixmaster so at one point when he mispronounces Gerald Ford as Gerald Frod I edited and duplicated "d-Frod d-Ford d-Frod d-Ford d-Frod d-Ford d-Frod d-Ford d-Frod d-Ford d-Frod d-Ford d-Frod d-Ford d-Frod d-Ford d-Frod d-Ford" in back of the sound of the train rattling and clattering over a bridge oh my wickedness of liberty yes art clatter clatter clikityclakity clickityclackity clickityclack click clack down the railroad tracks wooo-wooo waaaaaaaaa oh train yes mmm.

...until that becomes the question and the answer: what is a page? it is no longer a piece of paper.
It is a space on a screen. This is the mixing of two paradigms: page of paper and screen of video/movie/film
...and so this is the future. A screen in your hand, a box on your desk. You are working or you are playing. You have a notebook or you have a monitor. Someday soon you will have a huge wall theater screen almost as good as the ancient movie theaters where we used to huddle together in the dark. Remember Hart Crane:

So many different paradigms of reading and viewing come together here and you just do it all in a breath without even having to stop to think about it oh my. Oh your. Oh its. It's true.
