I'll let you know tomorrow how terrible and un-historic it is

what lies Hollywood tells to make another damn movie to sell in the world markets of

MAMMON

and I will also tell you what I find good about the movie as I expect I shall find plenty of vicious beauty in it, if the buzz be true

shades of Babylon

An Iraqi boy picks through the ruins of his
burning home next to St. Matthew Church in
Baghdad, Iraq (news - web sites), Tuesday,
Nov. 9, 2004, following a car bomb attack
Monday night. Militants detonated car bombs
in quick succession near two churches in
   southern Baghdad after sundown Monday,
killing at least three people and injuring
52 others, according to the U.S. military
   and police. (AP Photo/Hadi Mizban)

riding around with Tere while she does her errands she's going to a piñata party later today and asks me if I want to accompany her in her shopping well yes I say I don't mind accompanying you but it's getting my big six foot body into your little car that bothers me but what the hell let's go

so we end up over at the dead mall I forget when I first stumbled onto this place big big mall with many many empty little stores even though it's got three pretty big anchors, a Dorians and and Aguila and a Comercial Mexicana and a Sanborns oh my that's four ain't it but there are still plenty of empty storefronts inside along the twisting interior corridors and I tell Tere that I am thinking about nominating this place in Otay Mesa to the deadmalls website maybe some people would come to Tijuana and come to Otay Mesa and spend some money and she laughs and buys a couple art books for the girl whose birthday party piñata is today and then we go off to her favorite gift-wrapping store off in another section of Otay nearer to where we live

and while she is inside the little storefront on a regular street full of people mostly kicking back and wandering around on Saturday only a block from the big park while she is inside the store I notice an empty place next door and poke around inside wondering if it's for rent there's a for rent sign next door on the next building but this one is all vacant and abandoned looking I have always been fascinated by empty buildings and this one is particularly curious a skinny thin narrow lot with a gaping garage or something leading into like something maybe an abandoned taco stand downstairs and then your typical Mexican staircase of cement turning toward the upstairs where there must be some kind of apartment I guess but I don't go upstairs no only look inside the big gaping garage-type door

Tere will find me and remark that there is some kind of chimney looking thing going up so maybe it was a big taco stand and they had their brazier going yes I am intrigued and am always thinking of moving but I need to make more money first so I can get a really funky place and fix it up and besides I am toying with the idea of moving to another zone of the city altogether

but this place is the sort of place I would want to get and fix up

Amen. Goodbye.

or well... goodbye for now at least
